Break out of the... NOOOOORM!
It's probably because I'm a bit of a bad person. But ever since RR Anderson made this post back in February, I've had this desire to... alter it. At the time I had no means, without Photoshop or related tools. But for an upcoming project I needed something, so I finally downloaded and started playing with Gimp. Newly inspired, I hunted the image back down, and spawned something unholy...

Nice. It's like a scene from Alien... where everybody knows your name...
your Average joe, the man on the streets, do not have enough money to buy their own billboards to respond to the imagery he/we never asked to see. This is our answer. It is the duty of every American to not just passively absorb these obnoxious advertising campaigns, but chew them up, mix them into something completely different and spit it back out into our oppressor's face.
In the modern age communication is a two way street. Buying billboard space is expensive, subverting them is cheap. We've the advantage.
